Sheri has always been driven to elevate her creative talents through hard work and attention to details. While taking an introductory evening course in Interior Design at BCIT in 1999, she discovered that the art of Interior Design and Architecture made her heart sing.
After working a few years within the corporate design industry, she felt that she wanted a personal connection with her clients; to be able to spend more time to ensure they got the service they wanted and deserved.
Launching SDL Designs as an independent boutique interior design firm in 2016. As a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) she stays abreast of the latest innovations, building codes and licensing requirements for Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
She passionately pursues creative, intelligent and thoughtfully considered solutions on behalf of her clients and works with professionalism and proven communication skills. Her depth of experience translating the functional requirements of the home and business environment, with creative vision and confidence, allows her clients to enjoy the process. She sincerely believes that the best and brightest solutions occur when clients, tradespeople, artisans and consultants are given a voice at the table.
Sheri always looks forward to sharing her passion, delighting her clients with her creative finesse and attention to details. She makes a personal connection with each and every client to discover their creative vision so she can ensure their expectations are fully realized. Using her extensive construction industry experience, she works closely with builders and/or general contractors to ensure every design detail is translated into the desired results.
